Elizabeth (b. 1989, Lexington, KY) is an artist whose work spans various subject matter, changing as her life changes. From small watercolors to large paintings on canvas, Elizabeth experiments with different media. Her most recent work includes birds in isolated environments, plants, and a series of colorful abstract paintings, all of which reflect the ever-changing seasons of contemporary motherhood. Her paintings tend to oscillate between moments of chaos and stillness, representative of the creative life with young children.
Elizabeth received an BA in Studio Art and Art History from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, and an MA in Contemporary Art from Sotheby’s Institute of Art in New York, NY.
After living for several years in Dallas, Texas, she and her family moved to Richmond, Virginia in 2021.
