This is a mixed-media abstract painting on stretched canvas, wired and ready for hanging. The painting is titled “Popping out (to say hello),” inspired by my love for flowers and my summer routine of checking on my flowers and plants first thing in the morning. This painting specifically refers to growing poppies, and the joy of witnessing the blossom right at the stage of opening up!
